PRIMES invests in the future
Soon it will be done and PRIMES' largest construction project to date will be ready for move-in: The new "HUB", central research and administration building of the owner-managed specialist for laser beam diagnostics, can be occupied.
"This not only doubles our space for running our business, but we can also set up a showroom and an application lab with training facilities for our customers and partners," highlightes the owner, Dr. Reinhard Kramer.
"We continue to focus on growth and see ourselves well prepared for the increasing demand for laser beam analysis and integrated measurement solutions, e.g. from the areas of additive manufacturing and laser manufacturers. The growing spread of laser applications, including in battery production, is also leading to further demand for beam monitoring. With this new building, we can realize shorter delivery and service times for our customers thanks to higher capacities and optimized logistics," adds Mr. Kramer, who together with his wife Kirstin was intensively involved in the planning and construction.
The HUB is a modern building in elegant anthracite with around 2,000 square meters of floor space on five floors. Thanks to the expanded laser laboratory, PRIMES can now also qualify high-performance measuring instruments in the green wavelength range. This reproduces the measurement conditions found in current production environments.
PRIMES is thus continuing extensive investments in an optimized manufacturing structure, new research and calibration laboratories, expanded office space and, last but not least, attractive working conditions. The staff is particularly looking forward to the completion of the top floor, where a canteen, spacious break rooms and a roof terrace with a beautiful view of the Bergstraße will ensure a good working atmosphere in the future.
The company continues to expand. PRIMES offers interesting jobs, apprenticeships and internships for students. Applications are always welcome.
