Descripción técnica

The MicroSpotMonitor is a camera based beam diagnostics system. The device mea-sures the spatial power density distribution and based on this determines the beam position and the radius of a laser beam. The MicroSpotMonitor works between 248 nm and 1100 nm. It works with  a CCD sensor.

The main aim of the application of the MicroSpotMonitor is the detection and analysis of very small spots even from pulsed laser sources. With a well designed atten-uation this is possible even at very high power densities in the range of several GW/cm².
